Khwaish Part 40

(love you heer for the lovely creation for khwaish )

Khanak picked khwaish in her arms and went  to kitchen for making their morning milk, tea and coffee, before little one starts crying due to her empty tummy, ……….letting her hubby and bro to chat their heart content , who really get less time now a days  to talk due to their busy schedule ….……………while going , khwaish saw her little doll on floor, which she has left last night while playing outside the kitchen , she bend down indicating khanak to let her pick it, but khanak hold her tightly preventing her from falling ……

Khanak : laddooo , kya kar rahi hai gudiya ,……gir jayegi na , phir royegi……… badmaash

Khwaish : doll ….doll ….(indicating towards her toys , she was trying to say that she wants to pick up her doll )

Khwaish : abhi nayi , abhi chalo kanah ji ( lord krishna) ko uthayenge ….kitni ninni kar rahe hai woh , khwaish toh kabki uth gaye aur bhagwan ji abhi bhi ninni kar rahe hai

( not now , you go and awake lord Krishna …see how much he is sleeping ….khwaish has woken up  earlier and he is still sleeping )

Khwaish looked towards her, frowned as if trying to understand her mumma’s word

Khwaish : jai jai …ninni ….??

(As if asking really Krishnaji didn’t wake up till now??)

Khanak (kissing her chubby cheeks): nai ……kanah ji abi tak so rahe hai , khwaish uthati hai na unhe daily 

( no he is still sleeping ….how can he wake up when its khwaish’s  duty to wake him daily )

There is a small place at corner of kitchen where small temple made of wooden was kept. There is a small idol of kanahji with khanak given by shaan’s dadi to her. She used to place him at silver cradle which they bought from Delhi and also a small bed for making kanahji sleep at night daily after changing his clothes. It was of small height where the little one can easily get excess. There is also a small bed for krishnaji where khanak daily at night would lay down kanahji making him sleep and covered him with bed cover, now since khwaish started understanding things, it has become her daily ritual after waking up whenever she comes to kitchen either with shaan or with khanak, she would moves towards that corner,  uncovered the bed cover and will give a beautiful big smile when she sees kanahji , then holding the idol with his hands she would place them back in his cradle , blabbering  in her own language….god knows what , amusing shanak to no end , as if it was the code language between her and kanahji and it would be understood by kanahji, whatever she will say .

As soon as they reached kitchen, khanak placed khwaish on floor and moved towards the slab, while khwaish moved towards the temple , sat comfortably folding her legs and before doing anything , she  bow down chanting “jai …jai “. Khanak smiled looking at her, giving her lots of blessings and praying to god to bless their little world always. Khwaish then moved towards the bed where the kanahji was sleeping, she uncovered the bed cover, picked up kanahji with his hands while placing him back on his cradle. Then she picked up the small silver bowl filled with water (which was always kept on temple), she hold it carefully from her little hands and forward it towards the kanahji ……

Khwaish : mum-mum ????

(As if asking …..do you want to drink water ?, like the idol is going to answer her but still she keeps on talking with kanahji  till khanak finishes up her work )

When she does not get the answer, she picked it up and drank it herself.

Khwaish: tham….

(Saying “over “………means she finishes up the whole bowl and drank the whole water)

Khanak : laddoo……mumma batayi thi na , kanahji nanu karke kuch bi khate- pite hai

(Sweet heart, mumma told you na that lord Krishna, eats or drink after taking bath only)

Khanak came towards her, picked up her from floor and kissed her cheeks “ho Gaya? …..ab chalo du-du pee lo “

( done with your task ?? ,……now come and drink your milk )

Khwaish (pointing towards krishnaji): du – du?? Kanu (krishnaji) du- du ??

(Trying to ask that didn’t idol krishnaji will drink milk?)

Khanak: nai …..kanu nanu karne ke baad du-du pite hai ( no, idol krishnaji will drink or eat after taking bath and not before )

Khanak then moved towards bedroom holding khwaish in one arm and holding tray with other hands. She looked at shaan who was now typing something on laptop.  He looked towards them, keeping laptop aside, holds the tray helping khanak. Khwaish as usual moves towards him for drinking coffee with him, khanak in between managed to make her drink her milk too, then placed her on her lap and pat her lightly making her sleep. shaan saw them busy , so he  moved towards  bathroom for shaving and bathing, as he knows if he will stay there then little one wont sleep and if she didn’t take her morning nap , then she will whine whole day, giving them tough time.

Khwaish (patting the little one and placing a light peck on her forehead): mumma ki laddoo….
