Khwaish Part 15

Shaan : not bad buddy.

Jai and everyone chuckled hearing it.

Shaan and khanak looked at each other, smiled and felt proud that their daughter listens to other people too other than her own parents,  it shows that they are flourishing the seed properly and in a right way.

Shaan : jai, I know that khwaish  and you became the good friends now , and that to a very special one , because she generally don’t listens to anyone easily , but I m surprised to see that she listen to you ,…………….. but I never knew that Aryan and you are good friends already .

Jai smiled : ya , One day he came to our house with ragini and it was Sunday , I was having an off , so we played whole day and visited mall also, then after that he sometimes come with madhavi aunty , whenever he doesn’t  have school.

Shaan and everyone smiled,………………. everyone knows that its natural for  a child to get attracted  towards  person with whom they get love and affection, Aryan being the child, who never got love from his mom, seeks to get love from others , and who ever cares for  him , defiantly he gets attached to that person.  

Khanak, always feel heavy hearted whenever she thinks about Aryan and immediately starts comparing khwaish in his place and what all would be the consequences , shaan looked at her and was surprised to see her nervous and eyes filled with tears , he immediately stretched his hands  and hold his hand , it was cold , he squeezed it lightly , she looked towards him helplessly , he moved to see it , …………………wanted to give her a tight hug but cant as they were sitting in a room full of people , but nodded his head as if asking her to stop crying and thinking so much , she composed herself and took a glass of water to gulp the lump formed in her throat .

Aryan immediately moved towards his room to bring the same boll for which tussles between the Khandelwal’s kiddo was fighting in the morning. Everyone was amused to see it , khwaish jumped with joy to see that boll again and leaned towards him to take it from him , but jai holds her securely so that she didn’t fall down , Aryan came towards jai

Aryan : Jai chachu , come we will play catch catch .

Jai : ok, chalo ……………. Khwaish bhi chalegi na ?

Khwaish  looked at him and then towards Aryan , tilted to hold  the boll again, but Aryan took it away so that she does not able to take it .

Khwaish again starts whinning  again, when she can’t able to have the boll again . shaan and khanak both nodded hopelessly to see the antiques of the duo . Jai laughed loudly seeing her naughtiness and not to give up attitude.

Jai : bilkul apni mummy par gayi hai

Khanak  looked at him with most killer look, while shaan laughed loudly  and thought to utilize the situation to tease her  and to divert her mood from Aryan.

Khanak : Bro , what do you mean by that ?

Jai : I mean you were also like that , keeps on fighting with me till you get what you wanted , aur wahi chahiye hota tha jo mein leta tha , phir mujhe hi sab samjhate the ki tu bada hai , dede and all .  

Khanak : Haww ! Liar I was not like that

Jai : you were, except it , kyun shaan ?

Shaan , who was laughing loudly, composes himself – “ ya , I agree with you “.

Khanak : You both always be on one side and left me  alone , no one takes my side , I hate you both, hmph.

Every one smiled widely at the way she spoke, and shaan felt like kissing her and hugging to see her cuteness , she is looking more adorable than khwaish at that time .

Khanak : ma , tell them  na , see how they are teasing me .

Ma : What do I say except that you three will never grow up , no matter how much your children will grow. Please don’t involve us in it, otherwise we will be in danger

Shaan : see , even ma agrees  in it, that is why she is staying out of it , otherwise you starts  crying.

Khanak : both of you friends are so  so bad , don’t talk to me now .

Madhavi came near khanak and sat beside her  , and hugged her and looked towards the duo -  “ you both , stop it , don’t you try to think that she is alone and you can keep on teasing her , don’t worry khanak , I m on your side .“

Khanak : Thanks mom, I love you

Shaan : Mom, this is not done , you always took her side , how can you go against your own son , your own blood .

Everyone present in the hall started laughing loudly seeing the way he spoke like a small child and the two kiddo’s was looking to everyone like a good audience without creating any noise or shouting in between as if trying to understand what’s happening .

Savita : madhavi , did you see why I m not speaking in between or taking any body’s side .

Madhavi : yeah , see the way he is blackmailing me emotionally .

Savita : they are more childish than khwaish and Aryan. See at these two kiddos, how quietly they are sitting and look at these three kiddo of ours, how they are fighting.

Everyone laughed loudly at it and three of them felt embarrassed. After having some more chatting and teasing of the friends, bro and sis duo, while khanak is feeding khwaish and aryan , everyone moved towards dining table for lunch . Khwaish moved towards shaan to sit with him , and he make her sit on his lap, and gave her a piece of carrot , so that she gets busy in chewing it while he takes his food . Aryan moved towards his room for a sweet nap after having a food from chachi.

In the evening ………………

Everyone is taking their tea and coffee , khwaish was laying on khanak’s lap and having  her milk , Aryan came towards jai with his  boll and asked him to play catch catch again, jai agrees to it . khwaish’s attention got diverted when she listens Aryan’s voice , she left the bottle and sat on khanak’s lap , stare towards Aryan and jai . ………….but they didn’t noticed her and started moving towards the garden , khwaish immediately slide from khanak’s lap and crawled towards them , everyone laughed to see her acts .

Khanak shouted to stop jai “Bro, she is coming after you

Jai looked back and found khwaish coming towards him , he moved towards her , bend forward  to hold her and kissed her cheeks , “ badmaash , you should have completed your milk “

Jai : Khanak , feed her , I m sitting here till she completes her  milk.

Khanak : Let it be jai , she won’t touch it now , you take her with you, till then I will do my packing, she didn’t let me do it whole afternoon .

Jai smiled and asked shaan to come along, they all moved outside to play , while elders people are back to talking and khanak moved towards her room .

In the garden ………….

Jai : Khwaish and I will be one team and shaan and Aryan in the other team

Shaan : okk

Shaan moved backward holding Aryan……………….. khwaish looked towards them and again she shouts “ aaaayyyyhhhhhh”................Shaan smiled and understands the reason for this , while jai was still confused ,

Jai : arrey , ab kya hua guddiya ko , kyun chilla rahi hai ?

Shaan : buddy, you better be on Aryan side and I  will take her , she can’t take it if I go on his side .

Jai : Gosh Really ? itna samajhta hai isko ??

Shaan : yup , sab samajhta hai , gundi ban gayi hai puri yeh

Jai smiled widely and gave khwaish to shaan and he moved towards Aryan who was still standing little away

Khwaish again started shouting when jai moves towards Aryan side and took a boll to throw towards them .

Jai and shaan looked at each other and laughed loudly,

Shaan :  Gunda baccha mera , sabko apne side kar legi kya ? , bhaiya akela ho jayega na phir , woh royega phir .

Khwaish listened to  him attentively as if trying to understand his words , curled her lips in an oval shapped . shaan smiled loudly and kissed her cheeks, “ Sweety pie mera “.

They continue their game for Aryan till he wants. khwaish was giggling and  laughing loudly  seeing the play when the ball comes and go  towards  her ……………………shaan and jai felt happy themselves to see the kids enjoying and to spend this beautiful moments with them before going back , to get busy in their own works.

Seeing the sunset and darkness spreading around, Jai again started feeling low that now it’s just few minutes left to enjoy with her and then she will go away from him with her parents, for an indefinite period, the moments spent with her was the beautiful and funniest moments  of his life , the whole week passed like a dream to him,……………. to play with her, to take her for walking, in the zoo, garden and to do crazy acts to make her laugh loudly,………..  He plays like a kid with her. Even He felt that this childish person in him, was unknown to him before meeting with khwaish,………when he remember the things they both did in the last week and how ma gets frustrated seeing the whole house and everything scattered on the floor………….but  he had to listens  ma’s scolding and  not only of his side but  of  her side’s  too as ma cant shout her , so he had to listens on behalf of both, but later  when ma finishes with  all her frustration , he just go , smile and hugged ma saying , ‘ ho gaya ?’ and ma whacked him lovingly. He smiled again remembering those things, shaan looked at him, came forward and waved his hand infront of jai’s eyes 

Shaan : Where are you ?

Jai startled and came back to present.  He decides and declared to shaan too that as he visits Bangalore frequently for meetings and conferences, so he will visit to them too for spending time with khwaish , shaan was happy to hear it and hugged him

Shaan :  it’s your home and your niece , you can visit anytime and she will be more happy to see you there

Jai : I will miss her a lot . How the week flew away didn’t even realized.

Shaan just smiled and jai stretched his hand to hold khwaish , she titled forward to go to him , which she rarely do if she is in shaan’s arm, but when it comes to jai , she goes to him lovingly .

They all moved inside and have their dinner with family before leaving. Khushboo and Akshay didn’t returned since morning, and called shanak for bidding them ‘Bye’, as their trip got delayed.

Everyone felt emotional to bid ‘good bye’ to them after spending beautiful time together. They hugged  shanak and khwaish too. Dadi gave an envelope in khwaish’s hand in the form of blessings, she took it immediately , khanak tried to take it from her hand to keep it safe in her purse , but khwaish didn’t left it, infact hold it more tightly ………………. after sometimes she  started shouting , “ aaahhhh……..” , everyone started  laughing seeing the tussle between  mother and daughter  and  hearing her shouting for  not giving the envelope to her mom.

Khanak : hey bhagwan ! gir jayega beta , give it to me , I will keep it safely.

Khwaish didn’t give it to her, but just keep it in her hold and attached it to her chest immediately as if saying her mom, ‘its mine, I won’t give it to you .‘

Madhavi : Aww,……… khwiash kya karegi rupee se  ? Chocolate layegi ?

Khwaish just smiled at madhavi, and looked towards envelope but didn’t give it to khanak.

Sunil : I will come to drop you .

Jai : no, uncle , you take rest , I m going with them.

They all moved out towards the garage and bid them ‘goodbye ‘ .
